Right, it's better, but you're still doing Chill Dog wrong. You don't wanna put your hand under like that, you wanna go to the other side of their and dig your elbow DOWN.

Also, when you go for the locoplata, the only reason you do that move is because they are defending the gogoplata with their hand. If you're doing the locoplata you want to grab their hand so they can't defend it, which leaves you with no option but to use your foot. If they dont defend, just use your free hand to put pressure.

Kung Fu move is better yes but still needs some work. You need to bring your foot in front of their face to do it properly.

It'll be so much easier when I come down to show you.

Can you post some videos of your half-guard (lockdown, whip up and old school, and electric chair), please?

Hi jay thanks for the comments as usual ( cant wait until you come down )
what we have found is if you just take your had of the foot when moving from newyork to chilldog the opponent just stands up?, we have tried to revise the trainsition using the hand under the neck, we have found this works better for us also giving the opponent something to think about when transtioning, personally i think doing it this way helps move the head away making it easier to put the foot under the neck?, that kung fu moves an awkward move man esp when the opponents head is tucked in tight. do you think if i post a few vids on the 101 foru they can assist further?

If your opponent is just standing up, you aren't hugging the knee tight enough. You want to be really holding that knee tight and getting to chill dog as fast as you can. If their head is tucked in tight when you go under, especially with MMA gloves on, you aren't gonna get that arm in to chill dog.

You just stated the reason for pulling your foot IN FRONT of their face before kung fu move. If you aren't flexible enough (which the kid in the video isn't), then you can angle. I'll talk all about angles when I come down. I'm dying to get down myself to be honest!
