Anderson Silva Say's He's Injury Free And Wants A Fight With Frank Mir

Despite recent reports alleging that Anderson Silva was out for the remainder of the year due to an elbow injury, the UFC middleweight champion recently told Fighters Only that he is “200 percent healthy and there’s no injury.”
“I don’t know anything at all about any elbow injury,” he said. “I wonder who hurt me?”

Silva says he is looking forward to getting back in the octagon following his high profile victory over Forrest Griffin at UFC 101. Silva says he hopes to fight former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir next.

“I’m 200 percent healthy and there’s no injury. UFC can set the next fight whenever they want, I’m ready. I’m interested in fighting Frank Mir. He can be the next one,” he concluded.

What sort of weight are we talking about then.....

It'd be at heavyweight and we all know that Mir has the arrogance to stand up and trade!

i very much doubt he will be fighting at mw again particularly if he's trying to move upto hw.

Henderson said he'd be happy to move up to LHW to fight Silva ..

Silva would beat Mir. The only advantage Mir may have is strength. I think Silva could deal with Mirs jj and would beat him like he did Griffin with the stand up.

To be fair, Mirs BJJ is far above Silva's. It is just a shame that Mir thinks he is the heavyweight equivalent of Samart Payakaroon!

Mir has brilliant BJJ

From what I understand so does silva.. why use it when you can end a fight so easily standing?
