Aye i watched it the other night, it is a good documentary.
" The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights." - Ali
It's on my Sky plus, Rosi Sexton is on it isn't she?
"Live strong"
"Speak true"
"Dream big"
“The hardest battle you're ever going to fight is the battle to be just you.â€
yes
she is pretty good
Excellent documentary. We were really lucky and Rosi came down to train with us a few times between Christmas and New Year and she is just awesome. Looking forwards to seeing her fight next.
I found this by accident by flicking the other night, what an awesome documentary!

I actually thought it was a terrible doc, another BBC produced film that basically implied that the girls were being in some way bullied into fighting by their partners. They tried to portray Rosie as a bit of a sad case who had everything going for her and had been driven into fighting. Typical BBC,

The only time i wouldn't mind being "mounted" and "ground & pounded" :thumb
But i did see it and was impressed.
especially with the english girl that won that tournament towards the end.
i actually wathed this last night.. and i agree with all the points..
I think it was good overall.. but i think they portrayed them wrong.. i think lisa and rosie did well, but again they werent portrayed as willing combatants as such (at least not fully) it did show some of the training/passion side of things well.
overall i think its about a 7/10 but not sure how much 'help' it will be to uk mma and womens mma in general.
Favorite Fighters: Dan Hardy, Urijah Faber, Clay Guida, Jon Jones, Ross Pearson
Other Interests: Drifting(a motorsport), Web design, eSports, Film, My Fiance, Music. (With varying priority lol)
i agree. it's a shame that the fighters and there coaches were portrayed in the light that they were. the way they represented fans of the sport was bad too. if u didn"t know much aboutt mma then i reckon people would have that the sport is bad. reminds me a bit of the ch 4 doc on kids muaythai that was on a while back.
