    Being a martial artist doesn't make you mentally softer, I think, but definitely more aware.

    I think more than anything, it's a case of not needing to prove yourself to anyone out there for no reason. You wouldn't go out to the local park and nutmeg a load of guys if you were a professional footballer. You'd just look like a twat. Same thing applies to martial arts (and indeed, any sport).

    Mma completely changed my life, I was on a path to prison always getting arrested I thought I was the "big man" of my area, I started training in mma and it gave me focus I'm now on an entry to law course
    Let others come after us . . . We welcome the chase.

    he said that hes now on a law course due to mma calming him down...

    Yeah plumbing is a nice wedge, but i grew to hate it...
    ive always loved drawing, designing etc im alot happier now im doing something i truly l love.
    cant wait for the release...

    Ah I see what you mean, Im the opposite, dropped outta mechanical engineering at uni to do the trade. Gotta do what ya love.

    defiantly at least now when i get up to work i work for myself doing the one thing i love! for the sport I love, I feel lucky in a way... so many people who go to work everyday hatin there job!
