official - takedowns are as good as a punch

so last night i got into a scrap, I was attacked the gezzer swung a punch at me and instinctivly i went for s double leg takedown i got into mount digged this guy then i made the mistake of letting him get up and he attacked me again as he attacked me the second time i again went for a takedown but this one was all about power and no technique i drove him up then slammed him down i heard the guy scream so i let him go and didnt hit him at all on the floor he just lay their screaming and it turned out i cracked his ribs with one of them that'll teach him to go around attacking people because hes had a brew.

but back to my original point ive never done that much damage with a punch has anyone ever had a similar experience ?

Only heard of a lady who does judo, and a drunken guy started on her, and she repeatedlty kepting throwing him on the deck til his spirt, and possobily more, broke. Nice to hear the takedowns come naturally.

First of all i dont condone this sort of violence on the streets hence the reason I took up Tang soo doo, if you were just protecting your self fair doos but situations like that i tend to put the bagheads in a lock and put them down polity, if they attack again just choke them out! (not to sleep). then walk away,

nice to know the training is helping you to defend yourself tho. Good man

It's not easy getting locks in from a standing position on the streets.
