Thread: all the gear for protecting your ear

how many of u use head guards for grappling and can any one recomend me a good one.

last few times ive trained my ears have been hurting although not swelled up and the mrs says she wont love me anymore if i get nasty ears (obv not with me for my famous good moods and charm...)

Got myself Brute shockwave 3, theyre good, but ive had to tape up the strapes coz the velcrow could rip at my training partners faces, not good lol, but it fits really well (when I remeber to use it)

Lol thats well funny, My missus is the same, She wont let me get my nose broke, feel sorry for the guy who finally will! she will be over the cage choking the guy with her bra strap!lol

Ear protection is for wimps ....all real men have cauliflower ear.....

no girls ever seem to have a problem with scars busted noses black eyes n fat lips but the second u got a bit of gammy ear....

Im with you on that james, My misses was the one who persuaded (made) me buy it, have only used it twice over the last month tho, she aint there at training haha. I dont need cauliflower ears, mine stick out, thats bad enough already. Id be more worried bout the ear closing up and having shite hearing.

haha i'm joking guys , I doubt my mrs would like it either. I probably should wear ear protection but just never bother. Cauli ear can be a very painful thing to have.
