Understandably not everyone has the time commitment to train say 4- 5 days a week, plus have a busy personal life (kids, more than 1 job) but for those who have the choice to, why would you not give it a go a few times?
coz we have no choice mand, its the trainers lol, na it will come about if you train enough as the coaches respect the fact youre commiting to train 5 times a week, and will want to mentor you into the ring. That or your ready and willing to get in there no matter what.

has anyone else got any views on if 1 on 1 training is better than group classes - for ju-jitsu and muay thai ?

alryt mate.... i train kickboxing 3 times a week and 1 of them is 1-1 lesson... i think they are really good cas i get to go over what ive dun... i also train MMA twice a week but thats purely because ive got a fight at beggining of august... i recomend you doing 1 on 1 lesson if youve got a comp comming up but if not just do classes there more exciting plus 1 on 1's arent cheap when your already paying for classes...

personally im not sure if id be allowed to, i wear contact lenses and it wouldnt be an option to take them out, i cant see !

i also dont have the time available to do pre fight training, maybe when me and the mrs live together i might have, but not at the moment

at the minute im not good enough, or conditioned enough to do it, maybe when i am ill feel differently
