yes.
cheers if i looked more into competing would ju-jitsu be good to learn with it ?
is there advantages of learning both martial arts with 1 on 1 training than in a big class?
I think its personal preference
Being in a class environment is better .. then if you can afford it, get a personal lesson afterwards to just go over moves you learnt
I have mixed feelings about it ..
Im going to guess you're about 13/14 .. if so, it will be greart for discipline and getting fit ..
You dont have to compete , its all a choice, i bet the majority of martial art practiioners arent competing outside of their club competitions

ive been doing muay thai for about 8 months and ive no plans to compete
Out of curiosity, why dont a few of you want to compete?
I mean, of course, not to compete to become a champion, to be the countries number 1 but why not get in the ring and use what youve been trained to do?
Understandably not everyone has the time commitment to train say 4- 5 days a week, plus have a busy personal life (kids, more than 1 job) but for those who have the choice to, why would you not give it a go a few times?
