Same same, 4 weeks off, returned tonight and I have a bout on next Sunday.
Ive been boozing up it up in Thailand. I did everything but train.
Feel alright to be honest, did some pad work, will do sparring tomorrow. Bring it on.
Good times.......

I did ankle ligaments, achilles strain and thigh strain all at once three weeks ago.
I took two weeks off to rest and although the ankle is still sore and isnt up to stuff like running It is up to low impact exercises like using the X-trainer and of course any uppar body exercises are still okay. I also found that whilst the ankle might not be up to shooting in for takedowns or swinging kicks at people that I could still train submissions starting from a kneeling position.
The key isnt to just stop training in most cases but to find a way to train around your problem unless its so serious that it demands absolute rest.
