    BJJ or JJ

    hey guys was just wondering if there were any BJJ or JJ classes in the darlington area?
    i am currently training at evolution maa and they teach some BJJ as part of their sylabus. i would like to get a footing in this area as i would like to turn amature mma fighter if i get good enough?

    Sorry to post off topic but whats the difference between BJJ and JJ? and why do all mma fighter use bjj instead of jj?

    I think your nearest is Redcar BJJ but there are some MMA clubs in that area where you'll be able to grapple.

    There is a few BJJ and JJ classes in middlesbrough, i train at Middlesbrough jui-jitsu, but know of atleast 3 other gyms in the area, 2x middlesbrough, 1x stockton 1x thornaby

    Bjj

    Hi Mikey , im want to start up BJJ or MMA and im from billingham have you got any suggestions , im really intrested in it and if to start would be a beginner.

    In my little experience JJ does stand up( not good great though) and BJJ is mostly ground work.Thats my knowledge of it form training at Gracie Barra in Brum and JJ in Tamworth.

    Yeah the only difference really is that it originated in Brazil, BJJ just took out the striking i was told, mainly just subs and locks.
