    Clicking lower back

Had this issue for a while , all be it wasn't really that much of an issue before as it wasn't causing any pain. If i'm standing straight and bring my right knee up to my stomach / chest and move it out , my back clicks. It's starting to happen more frequent, ill be sitting at my desk for 10 mins at work, ill stand up and walk and a couple of seconds later it will click. I'm hoping this is a small issue, but i should probably get it seen to now i'm guessing incase it doe's any damage in the long run! I went to physio for a couple of weeks last summer but they didn't really do much to help it, gave me some excercises to do which didn't really help it at all, Don't think they could figure out what was wrong with it. Oh and it's probably worth mentioning it's only the right handside that clicks.

Anyone experienced anything similar? Or know anything about this?

my back clicks, has done for a few years, ive been able to click my elbows too, and my neck since i was bout 12, its normal i think, but to help it go away, i think you refrain from doing it for a few weeks and it becomes harder to click, therefore you wont do it after a while, it worked for me and clicking my knuckles.

I have\had something similar... it turned out my SI Joint was slightly out on the right side. I had the clicking now and then, but more noticeable was a constant pain in my right glute and my hip flexor being tight.

I went to an Osteopath and he sorted it (clicked it back into place).

I'm not saying you have the same thing, but I do recommend getting it checked out by someone like an Osteopath... better to be safe... as like it did in my case, it could give you problems in the long run, when the rest of your body\muscles try to over-compensate!

Since i've posted the last post it's been clicking away every second step i take

Just realised there is an osteopath 5 mins down the road so might go down and see them tommorow. I was more worried it would effect me in the long run, Cheers for that mate.

I have always clicked my shoulders, back, wrists, knuckles, knees and ankles click all the time. I have had a clicky back for years, but for me I have to cross my ankles when sat up in a chair and pull against each other to make it click and this sorts out any pain. I do from time to time get lower back pain, strangely it always seems to happen when I have a rest from weights (squatting). I have seen a few docs, physio's over the years but none of em had a clue? So not much use to you either though mate lol.
