knee injury
I have hyperextendable (double jointed) knees and since training last night i have been unable to hyperexted my right knee, my leg just above the knee and the back of my knee are painful and weight bearing is becoming uncomfortable. more concerned about the restricted movement in the knee though. anyone got any ideas what this could be? if it stays like this i will definitely be out of training next week

muscle or ligaments - hard to know without seeing your knee (supporting area) R.I.C.E - Rest/Ice/Compression/Elevate - and maybe a good heat cream for the coming weeks when back at training train with a slow paced (no quick movements) warm up - Cryogel or boxing ointment or Thai oil....can get these off Marc's site PROTEIN FACTORY, M1T, STACK 2, ECA, PRO HORMONES
Above all take it easy for a week or 2 - not worth doing serious damage and ending up months out or in hospital.

Sounds like a ligament or meniscus injury. I have the opposite problem; I can hyper extend, but I can't bend it past 95 degrees. I've had an ACL reconstruction, but I'm due back in for another minor op to fix my movement problem.
If I was you, I'd get to A&E and request to see a specialist IMMEDIATELY. Knee injuries are nothing to take lightly.
Good luck.
