    Hello to all...my intro.

    Hello fellow fighters.

I am a Birmingham based MMA fighter. I have fought Muay Thai at interclub level and have some amatuer MMA bouts under my belt aswell.

My first Semi Pro rules fight is two weeks today, although I am trying to forget about it and just keep focussed on training for it over the next fortnight.

I have 12 years of traditional Ju Jitsu behind me, although I feel it is time hugley wasted in the MMA game.

After a 5 year break I have been doing Muay Thai for the past 12months and MMA based wrestling and BJJ for 10.

I feel I have learnt and developed both as a fighter and a person since taking up the sport and I have a team of coaches behind me whom I cherish.

When at work, I am thinking about training/fighting, and If I am not at work then I am usually training/fighting.

Away from the gym I love music, Birmingham City FC, my family and girls (especially their chests).

Peace to all, shit on the villa, and long live fight sport.

    M

    Hey Bud, Welcome!
I wouldn't say 12 years of traditional JJ is a waste some people would love that much experience, you must be great on the ground!
The girls chest bit had me in stitches.... Quality!!!

I'm okay on the ground, it is the area where I feel most comfortable, but I'd say that is more down to bjj and submission wreslting tuition as of recent from Braulio Estima and more importantly James Whiston. Done a little with Wanderlei too!!!

There is not much traditional jj that is ground based, more of what I did was stand up!

Hey it all adds up and training you've got behind you, which will just give you more of an edge over the next guy
