Thread: Looking for mma club

HI there,

I want to start mma very soon as in next week. I have come across the Elite Gym in elephant and castle. But can not find a contact number or anything to find out if it still going on. Can anyone confirm that this is still running as i heard that the training there is brilliant. And if anyone has any costs?

Or anyone know of any clubs in west london.

yea london shoot fighter in park royal is a big facility so i've heard
and there a place in limehouse or very near out that way i forget the name of the top of my head.
not heard about the place you're talkign about though

Yep been looking up on the shoot fighters. Im in notting hill so its not to bad suppose i can travel a bit.

they are a membership basis i think.
depending what you want to do the prices vary monthly.
but i think in that you can use the gym facilities which are on site.
so may work out to be a decent deal if you're not already member of a gym.
most imprtantly go down and check out the vibe and see if you like it

I think down there its more about seeing if they like you lol let me know how it goes I've been thinking about making the trek there for a while now.

i would recomend london shoots. the training is world class and its not pricey if you train alot . i train weights 2x a week and mma stuff like 10x or more a week so for £90 so its like £2 a time to train with world class instructors, and if you think about it whats a normal bjj class cost? something like £9-10. all the free advice is worth the price on its own :thumb

its not easy though. you need a fairly high level of fitness just to get through the warm up and i have infact seen people quit before the actuel lesson has started.

there are guys who come from all over the country to train at shoots so if you live around he corner and are serious about your training you should defo check them out.
