Default Ey up lads

Ive posted on here before, but forgot my original login, so had to do it again. was supposed to start MMA training in January, but did me shoulder in. Ive had the all clear on me shoulder so im starting in March.

I have a quck question.

My schedule is going to be like this

Monday- Gym
Tuesday-MMA
Wednsday-Gym
Thursday-MMA
Friday-MMA
Saturday- Muay Thai

Do you think this will be too much for a beginer?

Regards

Adam

Are the two fingers for the amount of times youve signed up?

Its annoying to have an injury, but good to see your letting it rest properply. The schedule is ambious, the only way to see is by trying it. Just dont get disheartned if by the 3rd day your aching and demotivated, you'll need your recovery time, so perhaps a days rest in between each of the training days.

Haha, ill change the pic, dont wanna offend anyone.

Im not bothered if im aching afterwards. Thats why Im so keen to do it, cos I want to push myself. Im not doing it to think im a hard man, I just wanna test myself, and push myself as hard as I can.

Cheers for replying though mate.

Welcome Adam, try to be a little more specific about what you'll be doing during your training mainly your gym sessions... many members are educated on here with regards to fitness and will help you.

is that a city shirt i see? another fellow city fan always welcome.. do you go to games?

Im actually a Leeds fan mate, I adopted city as a second team when I started working in manchester, as it was cheaper to go watch a prem game at City, than it was to watch a game at Leeds.

With regards to my Gym training, I got a fitness instructor to do me a basic programme, just so I can lose some weight.

I start off with Benchpress, then lat pull down, the shoulder press, then Sqats, then deadlift, all 3X10, then I go on the rowing machine for about 15 mins.

for MMA training, im gonna be going to SBGproteam near picadilly, twice a week, and then on a friday evening, Im doing a class with Kam at the Gym. I think ive spoke to you before on here, before I forgot me login and you said you knew Kam.

ooh yea I remember you now - i don't know Kam personally Adam.

I prefer doing my C.V workout before my weights as i find myself more warmer and less likely to have an injury.. found most of my injurys have occured when ive been quite cold and lifting weights.

Maybe mix up your CV aswell? so one day you'll do the rower, then try the cross-trainer? i find it harder to do one type of cv once a week rather than the same type of cv for several times per week as the body becomes adjusted to it.
