You would need to create a gym and get insurance first of all

However .. you're going round the wrong route in wanting to go pro by starting your own camp .. It's a stupid move , everyone needs a quality team

What's your experience in MMA ? All I can see is amateur events, I have been doing MMA for 5 years now and know the only way to improve and get myself into pro fighting is to be in the best environment, which involves having quality training partners, coaches, facilities etc
and I have seen people do what you want to do, and I tell you, EVERYONE of them have failed.

SO RATHER THAN JOINING A QUALITY GYM LIKE LONDON SHOOT FIGHTERS, you want to set up your own team ROFLicopter

What coaches are you going to bring in ?

I'm usuallly supporting to all people that come onto the forum, but to think that you want to step into pro mma by setting up you own fight team, despite not having great experience , is just a terrible move

There is no positive input except for your enthusiasm for mma .. however, the way you are talking about it sounds quite barbaric, the way you talk about it takes away the discipline and respect of the sport

MMA is a dangerous sport, you need quality coaching if you're serious ..
If you're going to be responsible for the team, you should be experienced

Most fight organizations wont accept independant fighters, too many complications for them

I'M SORRY, BUT YOU HAVE CLEARLY NOT THOUGHT ABOUT THIS PROPERLY .. AND EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE, YOU ARE GOING DOWN THE WRONG PATH

I'M SORRY, BUT IT;S PEOPLE WITH YOUR ATTITUDE THAT PISS ME OFF THE MOST
Rather than go to a quality gym and improve , you want to be randy couture today, setting up your own gym, despite having only amateur boxing behind you, and 1 amateur mma tournament

Well I'm not here to yell and shout but I would repeat some of the concerns of the other posters here about a person with almost zero MMA experience setting up an MMA gym and teaching MMA to others.

From a sales perspective alone why would I choose to train with a guy with no experienced as opposed to going and training at one of the many gyms out there run and occupied by people with years of experience at various levels of the sport?

I just cant see people buying a fella whose pitch is "Ive never fought professional MMA but I will teach you how to be a pro MMA fighter!"

As for the attitude, I'll leave the expletives out but its a real dissappointment to hear anyone going on about how much they just want to hurt people, especially when that person has an ambition to set himself up as the ambassidor for the sport in an entire area. Will this be the approach to competition you'll be teaching your students?

You sound like you're making up stuff as you go along ..
Your first post, you mentioned your discipline as boxing, and you have taken part in amateur boxing matches

You then tell us that you have taken part in amateur mma and you seem to brag about your 3 submission wins

Some board members will think I am going over the top with this post. However, I think this lad needs a sense of reality, why would people who really want to be pro fighters , go to him when they can go to LSF ? HE claims he wants to be a pro fighter, yet doesn't understand the complex issues involved with running a team .. Then we all know, the dangers of MMA , I do not think he realises the responsibility involved

You say you have extensive training in BJJ, yet you're telling us that you've been doing MMA for years now.

You teach for free ? LMAO.. Will the council cover insurance too ?
You now claim you train with pro fighters .. when before, it was jUST "friends"
Way too many inconsistencies to take you seriously

You say people with MA experience will be involved, you don't appear to post any details, which makes it sound like you're a kid with ambitions but no sense of reality. The first thing you would have mentioned was, I have bjj, muay thai, wrestling coaches backing me, instead you say martial arts, which insinuates some people with karate experience

It sounds like you have been training to be a THUG all your life, not an MMA fighter .. MMA is about competition , man vs man .. The intention is not to go out and kill your opponent .. I think you should go and ask Lee Murray and Alex Reid , if you like being a thug and want the hype for advice

It's all about putting on a good show with hype ? .. mate, you need to go to the wwe if you think that's what mma is about .. mma is the ultimate male competitions .. I imagine you were so excited with chael sonnen building up hype for the fight v anderson silva ..

YOU MENTION "SO MANY GREAT UK MMA FIGHTERS" , you realise that the great fighters train at established gyms , right ? So if you want to follow in their footsteps, surely you realise that you need a goood gym behind you .. and being the leader of the gym, means there will be a lot of distraction taking you away from training and fighting.

How old are you ??, because I struggle to think that you're over 18, and if you are , you must be dyslexic, because you make such basic spelling errors such as "were" and "where"

You will find that we are positive people, we all offer advice and help one another, but to think, someone with your mentality will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of others, it's frightening

You can say we're close minded .. but you have clearly not seen my support to others who come on here . We're close minded because we understand how mma gyms work , and we dont think an amateur setting up his own gym because he doesn't want to go to the gym .. yeah, you're right .. we're the ones wrong

HELL, I WOULD RATHER GO TO A BOXING GYM THAT DOES MMA (and board members know how much i hate that) than go to a gym set up by someone with 0 understanding

I'll take a large McChichken sandwich, and large shake, with a side of stupidity from your MCDOJO please

    LMAO
And you think you can start your own fight team
You have no understanding of PRO MMA
You want to start your own fight team because you can't be arsed to join a gym, but you have great experience, in training with your friends, who suddenly after 2-3 posts became pro mma fighters ..
You have MA coaches ready to jump in and help you, with your great knowledge in MMA, especially BJJ and amateur boxing .. who needs judo, wrestling, muay thai, kickboxing, sambo, hey ..

You can't even take criticism on an internet message board without appearing like an idiot
You now want to fight me ? .. I previously did not believe you were 18, now I strugggle to think you're 15

    HI E-BAD BOY

You'll take me on for free ?? Will you train me for free aswell ?

LMAO LOL ROFLIcopter , great pro team manager .. anyone tell you that you sound just like greg jackson ?

No mate, think a mod deleted his post

He threatened to beat me up .. FOR FREE !!
This kid can't take some criticism on a message board, yet he thinks he can handle running an mma fight team

LMAO i just realised that he thinks the hype is what makes mma .. think this kid likes john cena and randy orton , not fedor and overeem
