has anyone got any advice on buying a gi...
i am only 5'5 but at the moment i am slightly overweight for my height.
i bought a 4 but it is really really long in the leg and as far as womens sizing goes the biggest i can find is up to 77kg which would be too small for me.
its only the trousers that are the problem really would it be advisable to just buy a smaller pair of trousers and stick with the bigger size?

why cant you just do a bit of home sewing to shorten or take them in a bit

i would but i am useless with a needle and thread! i suppose i could see if someone would do them for me or failing that i could find out how much it would cost to have them done properly. good idea, thanks

shouldn't cost more than £5 quid down the local cleaners, they usually have tailors that will do adjustments

put them on ahot wash, that will shrink them as i once found out......gutted
