If Shamrock Beats Kimbo - Plot His route back to UFC/$$$ (hypothetical)
Lets say hypothetically Shamrock beats Kimbo, he still has a name, and a decent record. Unlike boxing a series of defeats, doesnt necessarily mean career over and a run of a few wins for a 'name' enhances marketabilty greatly.
I mean, he could face off against a fighter he 'missed' from his era, Tank Abbott and then face another lesserlite and be brought in as Brock Lesnar fodder, or he could rack up a few wins before having that mma/wrestling transdental fight with Kurt Angle which would sell.
Bottom line, is that i never like to count someone out based on age or past. In boxing I watched Larry Holmes at 42 outscore unbeaten olympic champion Ray Mercer like he was a child, George Foreman lay the smack down on Michael Moorer's ass to become heavyweight champion at 45 and in mma Randy is UFC champion at 45. Age is a number, determination, experience and guile can compensate for speed (which is primarily what gae takes away)

Nah, Shamrock could be 25 & he'd still get smashed by today's fighters. Unfortunately he's of the old guard & the sport has developed too fast for him & his skillset.
