Do you know whether or not the British Army permit the use of ephedrine or ephedra?

well you wont get tested for it thats for sure, ephedrine is a bit of a strange one it dosent appear on any class C list but is on the list of drugs banned by olympic and athletic federations, i know a lot of people in the Army who use much stronger things than Eph i wouldnt worry about taking it personally

Thanks mate. I've got a medical and that with them in a couple of weeks so I'm gonna stop taking it for now in case it causes a heart murmour but I wasn't sure if it'd show up in my system and I'd be booted out.

More often than not they will be testing for recreational drugs but ephedrine alkaloids could potentially show up a few weeks after, if it does (probably wont though) just blame it on cold medicine (they contain phenylepherine now, but used to contain pseudoephedrine up until about a year ago)
