I have no idea where those 5kg went.

    Ok here's my dilemma.
I went to the doctor couple of weeks ago because I have been getting dizzy when I get up fast, and (without checking my blood pressure) I was told to drink lots of fluids. (I assumed it had to do with dehydration as it is bloody hot).
At the same time, I lost 5 kg (unplanned) in the past month or so, but I am still wearing the same size clothes. I was wondering what the hell is going on.

I am not complaining about the 5kg lost (both myself and my trainer agreed I needed it), my problem is that I did nothing for that loss and I'm still the same size. My diet has improved much more since I arrived, because not only mamma doesn't allow me to skip meals, as the cuisine itself is healthier than the one(s) we eat in the UK. Yet, I don't think it had much to do with that because my size is still the same.
Anyway, I was watching some weigh ins a few days ago, I started thinking and my only guess is that I lost all that weight in water. Does anyone have a better guess? When we lose water weight do we lose volume as well?

Going to the doctor here (in Portugal) is out of the question because it takes ages to get an appointment, and I'm still two weeks away from returning to London. Do thee think I should be worried? I can really live without those extra kgs tbh but I don't want my body to be constantly working like a car in the reserve.

    Tack så mycket,
    K

Alot of my mates when travelling to hot countries such as thailand gain water wegiht but i never do. Ive lost 3kg in india before without losing size, that was due to dehydration. I felt really dizzy and weak. i had to go on a glucouze drip(so they told me) and hooked me up to a drip bag. so drinking lots of fluids is a good idea, just not all in one sitting, its got to be constant througthout the day.

    Not to me.

And it doesn't matter how fast I get up, I just get dizzy.
I didn't really see the doctor, just the nurse, I wanted her to check my blood pressure - chances were that was the problem but I wanted to know anyway; I like to play safe. Anyhoo, I never get dizzy, so this is new to me, and therefore somewhat allarming.
