    Protein etc

Ok so training starts hard 2moz. and ive got a lot of weight to loose.

Ive got USN Pure Protein IGF, This is very very low in Carbs but still gives around 40 grams of protein.

Ive also bought CNP Protein bars, these have carbs as you would excpect.

Now my question is, When should I take this stuff? And what else should I get. I have ordered a good fat burner of Marc.

Im interested in what I should drink during training? and just after and before etc.

    Thanks for any help

    Chris

If you're trying to lose weight - water. Plain and simple. You should be aiming for around 1.5-2 litres a day, and if possible, drink it ice cold as this will gradually help with weight loss.

    (This link explains it)
HowStuffWorks "Does drinking ice water burn calories?".

I haven't seen the specific stats of your supplements, but general rule of thumb is that carbs should to be ingested around 2 hours before your workout. Protein should be taken about 45 minutes before your workout (there are varying sources that suggest longer/shorter periods, but it's down to your body and preference), and within an hour after the workout. These timings are for your body to firstly prepare for the workout, and then to repair afterwards.

drink slightly warm water when training - ice cold water will make you cramp and luke warm will make you sweat more but you will stay hydrated:thumb

creatine will make you retain water - also depends on what type you got mono tends to make you hold more water all over, it will help you recover tho and if you got kre alkalyn will help you push thru your lactic acid threshold (so should train harder for longer) - so it's a double edge sword - be bigger with water in you and recover fast and train harder ot stay slightly smaller and possibly not recover as fast or train as hard.

dont do this. creatine causes water retention in the muscle.
