    Tuf uk

    Hi,

While watching the UFC 111 press conference, Dana White confirmed they will be taking The Ultimate Fighter series out of the United States. One of the places he said he wants to do an entire series is the UK No timescale on it of course.

Great news for the sport here, how many of you guys are up for attending the open tryouts when it happens? :thumb

You've got to have alot of pro experience to get through the tryouts I know someone who was one stage away from being on the uk vs USA series but was told he didn't have enough proffesional experience
Let others come after us . . . We welcome the chase.

But that was in the USA - MMA is huge there, and other countries tried out as well. I'm guessing a UK series would limit the number of candidates, if not to the UK/Europe only, at least excluding the USA. This alone makes it less competitive in comparisson.

One of the guys we know is on his way to the USA tonight for an interview etc - you have to have a good record an be on a bit of a winning streak from what we figured out to get considered for the interview/trial.

I imagine if it was in the UK .. more european fighters would be looked at too ..

I'd imagine ability would be the first thing they look at .. you can have 20 fights, but someone with 3 fights might be the better fighter

    I HOPE THIS HAPPENS ..
