Yea sorry Iceman i tried merging your topic and MMAunltd's topic into mine but did it wrong, i think because your posts were earlier than mine it put yours before mine so i deleted them.

Every UFC/UFN i'll be creating a similar topic from now on - i'll try and have them up every monday before an event.

Default Help with pool picks UFC 109

I have entered in a pool for UFC 109 at Cashsportspools.com

Can someone help me make some good picks?

I have chosen my fighters but I don't know what to choose for how they will win the fight.

Here is the scoring system they use:

You get 5 points if you choose TKO, 7 points for submission, 3 for decision

Frank Trigg (5 Points, Neutral Venue)
Matt Serra (5 Points, Neutral Venue)

Dan Miller (6 Points, Neutral Venue)
Demian Maia (4 Points, Neutral Venue)

Chael Sonnen (6 Points, Neutral Venue)
Nate Marquardt (4 Points, Neutral Venue)

Paulo Thiago (6 Points, Neutral Venue)
Mike Swick (4 Points, Neutral Venue)

Mark Coleman (7 Points, Neutral Venue)
Randy Couture (3 Points, Neutral Venue)

I really want to win some $$$$$$$ so I can rub it on my tities

My picks are as follows,

Middleweight bout: Nate Marquardt vs. Chael Sonnen
Welterweight bout: Mike Swick vs. Paulo Thiago
Middleweight bout: Demian Maia vs. Dan Miller
Welterweight bout: Matt Serra vs. Frank Trigg

Had a cheeky double on Thiago and Miller to win :)

These are tough,

I write reviews for statistical odds analysis for some (unnamed) UK bookies, and picked the following to win

Couture - TKO round 2
Mardquart - Decision
Thiago - TKO round 2

Most UK bookies don’t need a round to win in, you just need to specify whether they will be stopped in the time limit or via decision, method of victory is not always required either!

Only picked the top 3 on the fight card though and MMA can be very hard to predict, that’s why we love it so!!!

Good luck

Im really not looking forward to the main event at all, i think it will be a hugging snooze fest (just like 105 randy v vera) with randy getting the win, that being said vera should have got the win big time over randy, i cant see a decision in favour of coleman, unless his cardio has drastically changed since the Rua fight. Looking forward to seeing Serra getting then win, Marquardt Vs Sonnen should be awesome, for me Marquardt is a level above sonnen though

I whole-hartedly agree, but what I find an even more laughable idea is that Joe Rogan was interviewing Couture and said the winner would be in title contention. Although I`m betting on Randy, hell should freeze over before Coleman fights for a title weather he wins tonight or not.
