Edgar was superb but what has happened to BJ ... shadow of former self

I agree tooney was a waste of time, and bj doesnt seem up for it anymore. Lets hope frankie can stop gray manyard from laying and praying if that match up is set for the next title fight.
Lauzon was a beast from the get go, loved watching him run through gabe. I havent really been interested in the stand up exchanges latelty, more the grappling battles, but the diaz marcus fight was good, if marcus didnt get the early cut, it might of been more competetive for him.

BJ looked OFF. Seriously, wtf was going on. Frankie Edgar looked a lot sharper, a lot faster and a lot fitter than he was in his last fight, but it felt as if BJ just rolled over.

He did win by decision twice, though, which I find a little odd. There was no real signs of Edgar being able to finish off BJ, so we'll see how he performs in future fights.

I hope BJ comes back, though! I miss him already!

Toney was just a waste of time, imo. Thought he'd actually be able to put up a bit of a fight with the amount of shit he's been talking. Did anyone actually understand what he said post-fight with Joe?

I've not seen the fights but read the round by round stuff.

I think Marc got all the main card predictions correct (jammy git!:laugh.

Has anyone got a link to Toney post fight or post conference I'd love to hear what the chump has to say. :thumb (saw Coutures on You Tube, the guy is so clever and respectful I can't help but praise him), he even down played the 1 leg/ankle takedown.

I thought BJ looked quite comfortable with edgar in his guard in the first round, to the point where I thought he may get something from his back but as it went on he had no chance. Props to edgar though I do think Maynard will beat him again.

I couldn't help but laugh at the Toney fight. So much hype from him and seriously nothing, absolutely nothing there to help him even stay in the fight never mind win it! At one point his escape from the head arm choke was to try and move his trapped arm in completely the wrong direction.

I liked the diaz fight - I thought davis was going to take him so it was good to see him looking fast on his feet.

Great card all round, love any card that starts with Davis getting a loss, I'll never get tired of seeing that guy get beat.

Joe Lauzon had a great fight, Randy did his job and did it well, Maynard made Kenny look pretty bad, Frankie was great against a sub standard BJ but Maynard is going to beast him.

Lauzon was fight of the night for me. I'm glad etim didn't fight him in that form and with the poor results of the other brits!
