    In which context?
For running they are good, tho too heavy on the ankles and the hip flexor-thingys start to suffer for me, but the wrist ones are great for the arms, esp the shoulders. But the best recommendation is a weighted backpack if you wanna work the calves best.

In warm up training, Id avoid as you are going through a warm up designed to help before the training, and you'll prob end up wearing yourself out too early, Just use more intensity when running around or doing the exercises to get the blood pumping.

On the heavy bag, again ankles will wear on the hips but great for conditioning the knees, ie do 4 sets of 50reps at the end. Having wrist wieghts will only plow the fists into the bag and prob do some damage to the wrists but when doing punches I leave out the wrist weights but keep the ankles ones on, so when bouncing around my calves and legs are working to get the power into my punches.

Shadow boxing/kicking, good, but take it slower at first, coz when a weight is outstretches its mutliplied by 5, so the joints can suffer. Do a couple min slow with them on, then take em off and ramp up the speed. Few of the fighters during the pre-warm ups walk round slowly shadow boxing with the weights on, doing high kicks too, then take em off and warm up on the pads/drills.
Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion, you must set yourself on fire first
