So, I've started HST. It's been a good week. Been 3 times this week, and I'm eating like an absolute horse.

Would anyone advise cardio whilst hypertrophy-specific training or not?

When I say cardio, I mean perhaps a solid 20/30 mins on a crosstrainer or something.

30 second intervals at high intensity for 8-10 reps with a similar rest period work ok with Hypertrophy training

I'd say to spend some time getingt strong in 3-4 basic lifts (deadlifts, chin ups and squats are probably best)

Unless you are already at a decent level of strength in such lifts, hypertrophy can often stall. Sometimes you gotta get stronger to get bigger, and sometimes you gotta get bigger to get stronger!
