    Grip aids

When I'm training I'm finding that my grip isn't failing due to fatigue but sweat.

So, who uses chalk etc. and what would be a better option, liquid chalk or power?

If your using the jerry cans mate, wrap them in cloth first, something like the stuff hand wraps are made from. Not too much though as you'll struggle with grip, just a thin layer, enough to absorb the sweat. You should find that your grip will increase as it gets wetter.
Other than that, anti-perspirant on your hands then some adhesive spray but I wouldn't recommend that lol.
    Hope this helps

I've always found the following exercises really useful to develop a good grip:

    1) deadlifts without any straps
    2) using captains of crush grippers
    3) dumbbell wrist rolls (one handed clamping your working hand on the end of the bench with your free hand)
    4) pinch grip exercises using two 5kg weight discs held between thumb and each finger separtely for time.

I've got no mma experience but found this worked really well for strength competitions. Also liquid chalk is well better than standard chalk. Hope this helps.

Look to strengthen the grip as opposed to finding a took to help grip.

You could do a variations of hangs.

Get a towel, put over the hang bar, grab the towel and just hang for as long as you can, if not with the towel, just hold the bar and hang on it.

If you still wanted to use a tool or third party product, try liquid chalk.
